What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a language model created by Microsoft that was designed to answer questions according to artificial intelligence in conversations with its users. Moreover, it uses the ability to understand and analyze language patterns to generate human-like responses to text-based prompts or questions. It is characterized by being able to communicate naturally as if talking to a person or to write sentences that are much better than a person could write.

ChatGPT Usage and Examples

The usage of ChatGPT is surprisingly simple. To use ChatGPT, first access the appropriate URL (https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt), click TRY CHATGPT on the left-hand side, and then create an account. In the process of creating an account, you only need an authentic email address and be able to receive mobile phone text messages. You can enter questions in the chat bar after you create an account.

As shown in the image above, if you enter a question, ChatGPT will answer it immediately, and if you ask a question in Korean, it will answer it in Korean, not English. In fact, when reporters asked questions in Korean and English, respectively and asked ChatGPT to write articles on the topic of ChatGPT, the chatbot made its own title and sub-title and gave a detailed and logical response. However, listening in English was faster and more accurate than Korean.

How Can We Use AI Correctly?

If you look closely at its negative aspects, you can see that they all have something in common that makes one feel uncomfortable from the perspective of "ethics." If so, what ethics should be applied to such highly developed technology? Experts say problems faced by AI technology have also deepened existing problems, so changes in scope are needed rather than changes in standards. If artificial intelligence is in charge of the answers, then humans are in charge of the questions. Also, we should think of the answer given by ChatGPT as an opinion and not a perfect answer. Therefore, developing the ability to ask questions and having an attitude to think of an artificial intelligence's answer as an opinion will be very important.
